Fire Destroys Historic San Jose Church

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KTVU) — Firefighters in the South Bay spent hours Sunday trying to extinguish a massive fire at Holy Cross Parish in the heart of downtown San Jose. The two-story church fire started in the attic at around 2:20 p.m. during the fire fight, part of the historic church’s facade collapsed.
