OAKLAND: Gas pipeline bursts, ignites fire underground

Crews remain at the scene of an underground gas fire in the Oakland hills that prompted the evacuation of six homes Tuesday morning, and a PG&E spokeswoman said it could take until early afternoon to shut off the gas flow.
