
The Boys and Girls Club of Monterey County's annual budget is $3.7 million dollars. According to the organization's director and CEO Donna Ferraro, over the last couple of months the amount of donations have decreased and they are now in financial trouble.
Ferraro says five senior management employees have had their pay cut by 20 percent. Aside from that, the Boys and Girls Club which has one center in Seaside and one in Salinas has cut back on maintenance and staff training.
The Boys and Girls Club will be having two meetings for parents one of them will take place on Thursday November 20th from 5:45 to 6:15 in Seaside. The other meeting will be held on Friday the 21st at the Salinas Unit at 5:45 in the evening.
