KION Weather Forecast
    Hi 58 F
Lo 44 F

...A Nice November Day, but Rain by Friday Afternoon...

Thursday was a sunny, warmer day around the Central Coast. High temperatures warmed 3 to 5 degrees and highs were mostly in the 60s to lower 70s.

Clouds will increase overnight and Friday will be Cloudy, breezy and rain will develop about mid day in the Santa Cruz mountains and early afternoon on the Peninsula. Rainfall will spread south in the afternoon and should change to showers Friday evening and gradually end overnight. Rainfall could reach up to a quarter and half inch around the bay and up to 1 inch or more in the mountain areas. This system will also be weakening, but is forecast to weaken south and east of the Central Coast.

Another weather system brushes the Central Caost on Saturday night into Sunday morning. No rainfall is expected althougth the Santa Cruz Mountains may see a light shower. Clouds will be slow clear and temperatures will be below normal both Saturday and Sunday.

As we head toward thanksgiving Monday through Thursday will be mostly sunny and a little warmer and it looks like it will be dry through at least Thanksgiving Day, however on computer model does show signs of a weather system reaching the Central Coast by late Thanksgiving day.

The outlook for Nov 25th through Dec 3rd for Near Normal Temperatures and Near Normal Precipitation.
