CASTROVILLE, Calif - On Monday night just before 11:30 a Monterey County Sheriff's Deputy tried to pull over 29 year old Jesse Jurado of Watsonville. Jurado refused to stop leading Deputies on a short chase; Jurado drove at excessive speeds through a residential area and ran several stop signs.

Eventually Jurado surrendered at the intersection of Union Street and McDougall Street. He was taken into custody without any further incidents.
