CARMEL VALLEY, Calif. - Campaign signs believed to have been stolen in Carmel Valley were found along the Carmel River Sunday.

A man hiking along the river discovered them Sunday morning; the signs are from the campaign in support of Carmel Valley's Measure G which will be contested in this Tuesday's special election.

Sheriff's investigators collected the signs and say they'll be fingerprinted for any clues.

Those in the campaign against Measure G told Central Coast News last week that some of their signs were missing as well.
