CASTROVILLE, Calif- The bomb squad was called to North Monterey County High School today for what turned out to be a hoax.

The Sheriff's Department says that call was made to the school at 11:20 a.m.  saying "Quick, there's a bomb at North Monterey County High School".

Authorities were called and the school was evacuated as a precaution. Students were out of class for a total of two hours.
