SEASIDE, Calif. - Seaside's Police Officers Association matched up against some of the Bay Area's former pro football stars in a charity game Saturday at Seaside High.
Among the retired NFL stars taking part this year were Guy McIntyre, Eric Wright, and Mervyn Fernandez.
Proceeds from the game benefit the Seaside Police Activities League, as well as the Junior Giants baseball program.
Players on the field say it was good to get back out on the field, but have no inclinations at a Brett Favre-like comeback.
"I'm way older than Brett Favre," said McIntyre. "No question, no comeback."
