For the past two months, a group of high school and college students known as the Old Town Ambassadors have been cruising through the downtown area offering information and directions for people "who look lost."
When people want to know where to go and what to see, the Ambassadors can help.
The service is free to the public.
The ambassadors say it's a good chance to meet tourists from overseas and learn about their history as well.
Not only do the ambassadors learn about the history of Old Town Salinas, some are also getting paid through the youth program at the One Stop Career Center.
