Seaside Woman Killed in Hwy. 1 Crash

SEASIDE, Calif.- A Seaside woman was killed Sunday morning in a crash on Highway 1.

California Highway Patrol investigators report the 48-year old woman was driving south on Highway 1 just north of Fremont Street in Seaside when she lost control of her car and crashed into the center divide; she was ejected from her seat and was pronounced dead at Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula.

A 52-year old man was in the passenger seat; he was reported to have suffered minor to moderate injuries.

CHP says the woman was not wearing her seat belt, her passenger was wearing his seat belt.
