Watsonville Man Stabbed Following Cab Ride

FREEDOM, Calif. - Santa Cruz County Sheriff's deputies are investigating a stabbing incident Saturday morning.

Deputies say the man was drunk when he got into a cab at a bar in the Pajaro area sometime Saturday morning; he shared the cab with two other men en route to Freedom, north of Watsonville.  Deputies say that's when the two men assaulted the victim.

Deputies say the man made it home and didn't realize he suffered stab wounds until later.

The suspects are described as two Hispanic men in their mid-20's.
