4.1 Quake Hits Napa

A 4.1 magnitude earthquake struck in California’s Napa Valley Thursday night, the U.S. Geological Survey confirms.

The temblor struck about 9 miles north of Napa, about 14 miles northeast of Sonoma and about 42 miles west-southwest of Sacramento, the state capital, according to the agency. The closest city to where the quake struck is Yountville, about six miles away.
