Governor Jerry Brown cast his ballot in the Primary Election today from his Oakland polling place. For the first time ever voters are participating in an election system that ignores party affiliations. Brown says he is not a fan of the new system. Polls predict Brown taking the lead by a wide margin in the Governor’s race and the big question is who voters will select as his opponent in the November election, Tea Party candidate Tim Donnelly or fellow Republican Neel Kashkari. The Sacrament Bee is predicting that Brown has a 99% chance of being re-elected for another term.
