Santa Barbara Mass Killings Aftermath

California leaders are expressing sadness following the mass shootings near UC Santa Barbara that left seven people dead on Friday including the gunman. 13 other people were injured. Thousands of people attended a vigil on campus last night. Authorities say 22-year-old Elliot Rodger was heavily armed when he went on a rampage in the Isla Vista community Friday night. he stabbed and killed three people at his apartment before shooting and killing two women at a sorority house and another person was killed outside a deli. UC President Janet Napolitano says she is shocked and saddened by the shootings. Governor Jerry Brown expressed similiar feelings.
