49er Aldon Smith Pleads No Contest

San Francisco 49er Aldon Smith has put his fate in the hands of a judge. He is facing weapons and DUI charges. Today Smith was in court to change his plea from not guilty to no contest. Smith faces three felony weapons charges related to a 2012 party at his home where shots were fired and an assault weapon was recovered. He also faces two misdemeanor DUI charges stemming from an incident last September when he allegedly crashed his truck into a tree and drove onto a yard.
