Armed robbery in Salinas

(Entravision) Salinas, CA. On 4/2/14 at around 10:08p.m. a suspect entered Clay Street Liquors and pointed a gun at the clerk, demanding money.  When the clerk did not react fast enough, the suspect punched him in the face with his free hand.  He fled westbound on Clay St. with an undisclosed amount of money.  The suspect was described as a Hispanic male adult with a thin build, 5’8″ tall and 145 lbs.  He wore a dark gray hoodie, black beanie with an orange emblem, blue jeans and carried a black backpack.
